Dr. Sabrina Schreiner is the Head of Research Unit Antiviral defense of DNA viruses, Institute of Virology TU München, Germany. She got a Diploma in Biology, University of Regensburg, Germany (2006), then PhD from University of Hamburg, Heinrich Pette Institute, Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology, Hamburg, Germany (2010). She got her post doctoral training in Heinrich Pette Institute, Leibniz Institute for Experimental Virology, Hamburg, Germany (2010-2014), Habilitation Faculty of Medicine, Technische Universität München, Germany (2015), and habilitation Virology, Department of Biology, University of Hamburg, Germany (2014). She also spent Virology training at University of Bordeaux, France and also in McGill University, Montreal/Canada, Department of Biochemistry, Cancer Research Center. She got a Jürgen-Wehland-Preis, Helmholtz Center for Infection Research, Braunschweig/Germany(2015) and Ellen Fanning Memorial Award – ASM Washington D.C./USA (2014).
